The External Ear Hemangioma

Abstract

|
Hemangiomas are the most common congenital anomalies in humans and they present physicians with some of the most difficult treatment problems known to medicine.
And over 50% of all hemangiomas being located on the head and neck, but the hemangiomas which arised from the external ear are rare, and the hemangiomas which involve the ear cartilage are extremely rare.
Authors report a case of the hemangioma which involved the external ear and cartilage, temporal region. The mass of the hemangioma was completely excised and thick split-thickness skin graft was done.
